About these opportunities
Tova Farms Tanzania is expanding its executive team with two hands-on leadership roles supporting avocado sourcing and export operations across Tanzania. These opportunities combine commercial judgement, team leadership and practical delivery across the agricultural value chain.
Supply Director – Tanzania
Develop the avocado supply network and build commercial relationships with major producers across Tanzania.
Responsibilities
- Establish partnerships with large-scale avocado farms and negotiate pricing, supply agreements and longer-term contracts.
- Integrate supplier farms into production standards, operating procedures and certification programmes.
- Identify farm acquisition and supply expansion opportunities.
- Coordinate harvest teams, truck loading, weight checks and supply planning.
- Lead teams, set clear accountability and deliver reliable supply execution.
Candidate profile
- An established network within Tanzania’s avocado-producing regions.
- Strong commercial negotiation and supplier relationship skills.
- Proven people management and operational coordination capabilities.
- Experience in avocado sourcing, agriculture or export value chains is preferred.

Tanzania Operations Lead
Coordinate nationwide avocado export operations and align departments around commercial and operational priorities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate supply, processing facilities, logistics and exports.
- Manage customer sales and orders against available supply, ensuring timely fulfilment.
- Lead senior department managers, resolve operational problems and strengthen accountability.
- Work with government authorities, regulators and strategic stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance, licensing, BRELA obligations and permit renewals.
- Improve operating processes, organisational performance and growth execution.
Candidate profile
- Experience managing complex operations and senior teams.
- Strong commercial judgement, organisation and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to coordinate supply, processing, logistics and export functions.
- Avocado export or agricultural value-chain experience is preferred.
