About the organisation and role

TibaSalama Foundation strengthens primary healthcare through digital innovation, community interventions, health promotion and improved access to quality services for underserved communities. Its headquarters are in Dar es Salaam, with a field office in Korogwe, Tanga.

The Operations Manager will coordinate day-to-day institutional operations and help turn project plans into effective community healthcare delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily institutional operations and supervise project coordinators.
• Monitor performance against project work plans and coordinate delivery across teams.
• Coordinate key partners and stakeholders supporting the Foundation’s work.
• Support collaboration among multidisciplinary teams working with rural communities.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Systems Management, Health Administration or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Three to five years of relevant operations or project management experience.
• Experience with NGOs or community-based projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, initiative and a focus on results.
• Willingness to travel and work within rural communities.
