Branch Manager – Hill Park Job at Exim Bank Tanzania 2026

About the role

Lead Hill Park branch performance, customer experience and operational control. This Retail department position reports to the Cluster Head and is responsible for all branch staff.

Working hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM. Additional hours may be required by workload.

Purpose and responsibilities

• Deliver Retail and SME financial targets through disciplined sales and service management.
• Grow current and savings accounts, fee income, product sales and profitable customer relationships.
• Acquire and retain customers while leading staff to deliver strong service.
• Oversee branch operations, compliance, controls and staff productivity.
• Work with Central Operations to maintain smooth service and compliance with Bank of Tanzania requirements.
• Maintain accurate transaction records, systems and management reports.
• Apply branch control procedures and financial security standards.
• Resolve customer and operational problems, coach staff and promote service culture.
• Build visibility through community engagement and identify new business opportunities.

Experience and capabilities

• At least five years of experience in the banking industry.
• Strong leadership, people management and banking skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, sales and business principles.
• Excellent communication, commercial awareness and decision-making skills.
• A strategic, relationship-focused approach and resilience under pressure.
• Diligent working practices and commitment to continuous improvement.
